Corpus Christi Times, Corpus Christi, Texas, January 6, 1976, page 11: John James (Jim Fay) Famuliner, 68 of Phoenix, Ariz. died yesterday in a local hospital. A Corpus Christi resident from 1947 to 1963, he had been visiting relatives here. He operated the Orange Oasis here from 1947 to 1962. He was later president and general manger of the Whataburger Division of Western World Foods, Inc., of Phoenix. Survivors include his wife, Mae Belle; two daughters, Misses Jody Lea Famuliner of Phoenix, and Miss Cathey Famuliner of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Alta A. Windle and Mrs. Mary Dean Storch, both of Corpus Christi; three half-sisters, Mrs. Louise Wilson of Joplin, Mo., Mrs. Betty Strater of Springfield, Ill., and Mrs. Ruth Henson of East Texas and a half-brother, Wesley G. Famuliner of Kansas City, Mo., Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service.
