Obituary from The Abilene Reporter-News, Abilene, Texas, March 22, 1969: Mrs. Johnson Dies at 54. Snyder--Mrs. H. A. Johnson, 54, Snyder school nurse, died at 11 p.m. Thursday in Cogdell Memorial Hospital after an illness of several weeks. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. E. Bruce Banks officiating. Burial will be in the Wiggins Cemetery at Carthage, Miss. Bell-Seale Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family requests memorials be sent to the Cancer Fund. She was a native of Joplin, Mo. She married H. A. Johnson Feb. 12, 1939, in Shreveport, La. and they moved to Snyder in 1950 from Beaumont. She was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Jane Palmer of Jackson, Miss and Mrs. Judith Buckner of Plano; two sisters, Mrs. W. B. Windle and Mrs. George Storch both of Corpus Christi; a brother, John Famuliner of Phoenix, Ariz.; a stepmother Mrs. Francis Famuliner of Joplin, Mo.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Don Henson and Mrs. Louise Wilson, both of Joplin, and Mrs. Floyd Strader of Springfield, Ill.; a half-brother, Wes Famuliner of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren.
