He was 67. Survivors include his wife, Lola; two daughters, Melissa Dawn Windle of Corpus Christi and Kathleen Simer Lewis of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sons, Michael Philip Windle of O'Fallon, Mo., Roy Tumlinson of Corpus Christi and Andrew Simer of San Diego; a brother, W.R. Windle of Virginia; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 10 at First United Methodist Church. Premier Cremation and Funeral Care.
