Wilson, 83, formerly of Manchester, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in the Edgewood Convalescent home following a lengthy illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Bohnenkamp Murdoch Funeral Home, Manchester, by the Rev. Kent Newlon. Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour before services Monday at the funeral home. Bernice will be fondly remembered by her 11 children and their spouses, Robert and Darlene Wilson of Manchester, Sharon Troy of Orange, Calif., Delores Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Susan and John Romig of Edgewood, Jack and Maggie Wilson of Granbury, Texas, Kathy Wilson of Madison, Wis., Connie Wilson of Thornton, Colo., Margie "Bubbins: and Ken Morgan of Cedar Rapids, Jim and Karen Wilson of Marion, Marilyn and tom Hyde of Northglenn, Colo., and Mary Jean and Steve Gill of Charleston, S.C.; 28 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and a brother, Charles Candler of Rock Island, Ill. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew Wilson; three sons, Jerry, Merlin and Edward Wilson; an infant daughter; and two grandchildren, Jody and Andrew Wilson.
