Ed Roy Noyes, 70, a native of Iowa and a resident of Santa Cruz for the last 14 years, died yesterday in a local hospital. His home was at 1450 Merrill street. He is survived by his widow, Patricia Noyes of Santa Cruz; three daughters, Lucille Pinkham of Santa Cruz, and Helen Morris and Norma Taylor, both of Vallejo; four brothers, Ernest Noyes of Greeley, Ia., harry Noyes of St. Louis, Mo., and Clarence and Charlie Noyes, both of Arcada [Arcadia], Mo.; four sisters, Hazel Noyes of Santa Cruz, Bertha Cander [Candler] of Dubuque, Ia., Florence Noyes of Dubuque, and Ruth Robert of Manchester, Ia., seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Irvin M. Smith and Son funeral chapel with Rev. Frank S. Sutherland, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
