The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Jane Rumple, wife of John Rumple, who passed away at Finley hospital Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock after an illness f several years duration, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:3 o'clock from the residence on Grandview avenue to the Grandview avenue Methodist Episcopal church. Interment will be made in Linwood cemetery.
She was born in Illinois, July 25, fifty-six years ago and had been a resident of this city for a number of years. Surviving are her husband, a brother Milton Elliott, of East Dubuque, and two stepsons, William Rumple of Arlington, S. D., and Charles Rumple of Clarion, Ia. Her mother preceded her in death several months ago.
