Obituary from Palladium-Item, February 16, 1983, Page A6, column 3: Lella Maude Jones, 79, 1204 N.W. Sixth St., died early this morning at Reid Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Jackson County, Ky., and lived in Richmond most of her life. Her husband, Clinton Jones, is deceased. Survivors include one daughter, Florence Neel of Hollansburg, Ohio; one stepson, Robert E. Jones of Richmond; one granddaughter, two step granddaughters, two step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; four sisters, Stella Sandlin, Grace Witt, Velma Minor and Nellie Goodlin, all of Richmond; and one brother, Walter Judd of Fairplay, Colo. Funeral service for Lella Maude Jones will be at 11 a.m. Friday at The Jones Funeral Home, with the Rev. Phillip Hodgkin officiating. Burial will be in Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
