Clinton Robert Jones

Palladium-Item, Friday, July 20, 1973, Page 7, Column 7: Clinton R. Jones, 77, 1204 North West Sixth St., died at Reid Memorial Hospital Thursday evening shortly after being admitted. A retired farmer, Mr. Jones was born near Jamestown, Ohio, and had lived in the Richmond vicinity for the past 50 years. Survivors include the widow, Maude; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Helmsing, RR 1, Milton; a son, Robert E. Jones, Richmond; a step-daughter, Mrs. Robert Neel, R.R.1, New Paris, Ohio; four granddaughters and one step-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Services for Mr. Jones will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Jones and Placke Funeral Home. Rev. W. F. Badgett, pastor of the Centerville Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
