He had been a resident at Good Samaritan Home in West Union. Graveside services for George were held at Woodlawn Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 25 June. Hintz Funeral Home had charge of burial services. He was survived by his sister, Mrs. Elsie Medaus of Oelwein. George had a nephew and 3 nieces. [Should read a niece and 3 nephews].
