Per the "Titus Family in America" by Dorothy M. Titus dated July 1943, page 3 found at Heritage Quest Online showing born Bath, NH, 1769; died 19 Oct. 1843, married Mary "Aunt Polly" Noyes. Both are buried on Titus Hill.

1816 pole tax for the town of Colebrook, NH shows a David Titus living on Titus Hill on the Charles E. Moses farm. He was taxed on one house, two oxen, four cows and two cattle (see "History of Coos Co., NH" page 592).

1798 marriage date and location is per "Landaff, New Hampshire 1782-1936" by the DAR, film 15564 but shows wife as Polly Noyes. Film 15379 shows wife as Polly Noyes: Landaff Vol 1 page 202(MR).

1769 birth year and Bath, NH, location is per Ancestry.com. In the New Hampshire Register of Vital Statistics "Death Index early to 1900" (LDS film 1001111) shows the death of his son Moses and the birth location of David Titus, his father, as Landaff, NH.
