Nancy McCoy's son Daniel McCoy Kennedy had a photo album with pictures of his first cousins William Mahan McCoy, John Norris McCoy, and Daniel S. McCoy. They were all children of Daniel McCoy, a brother of Nancy McCoy. The photo album was in the possession of Pearl Kennedy, a daughter of Daniel McCoy Kennedy, when viewed by Nancy Fowler.

The 1850 census gives her age as 25; the 1860 census gives her age as 37; the 1870 census gives age as 46 so she could have been born anytime between 1823 and 1825 according to the ages given in these three censuses.Death

According to her granddaughters Eva and Pearl Kennedy, she is buried at the Clarksburg Presbyterian Cemetery, Clarksburg, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. There is no tombstone for her.Endnotes
