Nancy McCoy is listed as a widow in the 1830 census in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. She married George Balentine sometime after this. Two of her daughter Deborah's children were living with her and her husband George Balentine (listed as Valentine) in the 1850 census since their parents Alexander and Deborah Beatty had died. Elizabeth Beatty, a daughter of Alexander and Deborah Beatty, was living with Nancy (a daughter of Daniel and Nancy McCoy) and her husband James Kennedy in the 1850 census.
George Balantine and two of his sons married women with connections to the McCoy family. George Balantine married Nancy Smith, the widow of Daniel McCoy. George Balentine's son Alexander married Nancy Beatty, the granddaughter of Daniel and Nancy McCoy who was living with George and Nancy Balantine in the 1850 census. George Balantine's youngest son John married Mary Jane McMillen, a daughter of William McMillen and Jane Smith, the widow of John McCoy.
