Notes
Property
It is unusual to find a married woman buying property in her own name at this time period. Her father Benjamin Boddorf transferred his property to his son Isaac in June, 1864. It's possible she received money from her father around this time if her father gave his other children money in lieu of a share of his property.Property
Emma Wolf sold this property on 5 August 1903 to Charles Neel.Property
Ella Mina was to retain this property until her death at which time her son David B. Himes was to have possession of it.Death
The only death record for Ellemina Himes is an obituary in The Jeffersonian-Democrat in 1904. There is no death record for her in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. She is buried in St. John's Cemetery in Rose Township according to her obituary but she has no grave marker and her name is not on Jonathan Hime's tombstone.Endnotes
