Martin may have gone by Luther ... in his sister Pricilla's wedding writeup "Mr. and Mrs. Luther Lokkesmoe, and other friends, there being 17 guests". I have also found other items in the Hendricks newspaper referring to Luther ... it seems that Martin, Peter & Knute all went by their middle names sometimes.
