Individual Details
Ingeborg (Amy) J. Knutson
(26 Jan 1884 - 9 May 1945)
Amy's name appears on a list of descendents of Kari dated Nov. 27, 2002 by Hattie Aune and it provided the names of the children. I had no information on Amy until that note and added her to the file based on Hattie's information. Jim W.Ingeborg's headstone read "Mother Ingeborg Lokkesmoe".
BJS
I obtained Ingeborg's birth month from the Lokkesmoe family file on the Hendricks Genealogy Project.
(According to that file - Amy's name appears on a list of descendents of Kari dated Nov. 27, 2002 by Hattie Aune and it provided the names of the children. I had no information on Amy until that note and added her to the file based on Hattie's information. Jim W.) (Also that file lists Ingeborg's parents as John Rognes and Guru Engen).
Amy & children are listed on the 1930 census for Hendricks, MN -- she apparently is running a boarding house, as several people are listed under her as lodgers. She lists herself as married - (which makes sense since Martin was listed as a patient of the MN House of the Insane on the 1930 census).
Ingeborg's sister is Mrs. Kari Aune - per item in Hendricks newspaper - July 18, 1941, page 3
Mrs. Julia Walberg is another sister of Mrs. Lokkesmoe - per an item in Oct 10, 1941 Hendricks paper
Andrew Knutson was a brother & Mrs. E. C. ___- was a sister & father was John Knutson - per an item in April 12, 1973 Hendricks paper.
