Her brother George was the father of Rev. Hawte Wyatt, the "Gateway Immigrant".
She married [[Scott-726|Charles Scott]], Esq. of Egerton, Kent, born about 1542, a younger son of Sir Reginald Scott of Scott's Hall, and his second wife, Mary Tuke. The date and place of their marriage is unknown and is estimated. Jane was widowed in 1596. She was buried at Godmersham 3 March 1616/7, her will dated 13 June 1613 was proved 17 April 1617.

: Jane's grand daughter, Dorothea Scott, married Major Daniel Gotherson of Cromwells' Army, and about 1655, became a Quaker preacher. Dorothea's husband died in 1655, when Dorothea married Joseph Hobson, of Kent, and about 1680, she settled on Long Island, New York.
