}*Angus Mackintosh, 6th of Mackintosh was the son of Ferquhard Mackintosh, 5th of Mackintosh. He married Eva of Chattan, daughter of Dougal, 6th Captain of Clan Chattan, in 1291. He died in 1345.
*During his minority, the Comyns seized Meikle Geddes, Rait and the castle of Inverness and the Mackintoshes did not regain them for another hundred years.
*He had five other sons and two daughters. In 1319 he received a grant of lands of Benchar, in Badenoch, from which the Comyns had been expelled.
