*Eva of Chattan is the daughter of Dougal, 6th Captain of Clan Chattan. She married Angus Mackintosh, 6th of Mackintosh, son of Ferquhard Mackintosh, 5th of Mackintosh, in 1291.
*She conveyed to her husband a considerable portion of the Clan Chattan estate, and he on marriage to her became 7th of Clan Chattan and assumed the additional title of Mackintosh of Torcastle. From 1291, her married name became Mackintosh.
