*William Mackintosh, 7th of Mackintosh was the son of Angus Mackintosh, 6th of Mackintosh and Eva of Chattan.He died in 1368.
*He married, firstly, Florence Campbell, daughter of unknown Campbell, Thane of Cawdor.
*He married Margaret MacLeod, daughter of Roderick MacLeod, 5th of the Lewes and Margaret Macdonald.
*He held the position of 8th Chief of the Clan Chattan. In 1336 he gained possession of the Barony of Moy from John Pilmore, Bishop of Moray. On 19 March 1347 he obtained a new lease of Rothiemurchus.On 28 February 1359 he received a confirmation of his rights in Glenloy and Loch Arkaig from King David II.
