==Biography==}John 'Mor' Grant was the son of Sir Duncan Grant, 1st of Freuchie. He married Muriel Mackintosh, daughter of Malcolm Mackintosh, 10th Chief of Mackintosh and 11th of Clan Chattan and Moira Macdonald. He died on 16 September 1482, in the lifetime of the father by , with two younger sons (Patrick, of Ballindalloch, thought to have been his elder brother's twin, d on or after 8 June 1555, from whom the GRANTs OF BALLINDALLOCH and GRANTs OF DALVEY, later DUNLUGUS, claimed desc.
