*John Grant, 2nd of Freuchie was the son of John 'Mor' Grant and Muriel Mackintosh.
*He married Margaret Ogilvy, daughter of Sir James Ogilvy of Deskford. He married Margaret Ogilvy, daughter of Sir James Ogilvy of Deskford, on 16 September 1484. He died on 1 May 1528.*John Grant, 2nd of Freuchie also went by the nick-name of John 'Am Bard Ruadh' Grant (or in English, ‘The Red Bard').
He had two other daughters.
