== Biography ==Sir Alan Stewart was the son of Sir John Stewart of Bonkyl and Margaret de Bonkyl. He died on 19 July 1333 at the Battle of Halidon Hill, Scotland, killed in action. He was granted the lands of Dreghorn, Ayr for his services to Robert the Bruce. The name of his wife is not known.
