== Biography ==
James Stewart (of Pearson, Pearston, Pierston) is one of eight children born to [[Stewart-270|John Stewart]] of Bonkyl and [[Bonkyl-3|Margaret Bonkyl]]. His father John Stewart was killed at the Battle of Falkirk in 1298.

James was killed July 19, 1333 during the battle of Halidon Hill.

His wife's name is not known.
