2. Barton2 Brawner (Henry1) birth date unknown.
Barton Brawner had the following child:
3 i. Amelia3 Brawner. She married Henry Adler Clements. Henry Clements was born in Maryland. He died 1812 in Garrad County, Kentucky. (See Henry Adler Clements for the continuation of this line.)

Following recent leads from the list, my Brawner "cousins" and I are hot on the trail of our particular Henry. Can anyone tell me anything about the following properties:
Haislip's Mistake
Bonner's Retirement
Wentworth's Woodhouse
Wentworth's Woodhouse is particularly interesting. It was left by Elizabeth Smoot Brawner (w/o Basil) to her son William Brawner. There is a stately home in South Yorkshire with the same name built in the 18th century. This stately home was never open to the public. It apparently fell into disrepair but was recently sold for a price in excess of 1.5 million pounds. The new owner is intending to return the home to private dwelling status after the necessary renovations have been completed. These renovations were estimated in excess of 5 million pounds. Might be interesting to see if there were any Brawners in South Yorkshire. Cheers Lynne Simpson Canberra Australia
