Howard Charles WILLETT

Howard received his education in the Brooklyn Schools, graduating in 1928. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1933. He was a director of the County Extension and Farm Bureau in Pocahontas County in the mid 1930's.
He and his wife operated a dairy farm north of Ankeny, Iowa until 1968. He then worked on a research farm at Iowa State University. They moved to Brooklyn in 1973 and then to Marion, Iowa, in 1979.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marion, Iowa State Alumni Association, Farm House Fraternity, and Kiwanis Club of Ankeny. He was active in YMCA of Ames when he lived in that area and served on the North Polk School Board as president.
