C E Willett died December 26 1943 at the home of his daughter. Interment was in the Brooklyn IOOF Cemetry, Brooklyn, Poweshiek County, Iowa.
Cornellius Ellsworth Willett was born June 1, 1870 near Brookyn, Poweshiek County, Iowa the son of William Cornelius and Anna Elizabeth Adams Willett.
He married Rose Belle Breniman on March 24, 1897. To this union were born three children. One daughter and two sons.
He united with the Episcopal Church when a young boy. He spent his entire life in the community southeast of Brooklyn, living on the same farm from the time of his marriage until shortly before his death.
