"Zebulon Cantrill was born in Orange County, North Carolina, and while living there married Polly Morrow, February 13, 1792. He moved with his family to Kentucky in 1798. There is a record of his disposing of 280 acres of land on Johnson's Creek, Orange County, North Carolina, in 1805, but he was then a resident of Green County, Kentucky."
