(NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: Some researchers show that Elizabeth Greer, daughter of Alexander Greer and Lydia Curd married Clem W. Osborne about 1865 and had children form 1866 through 1881, beginning with Cora and Orvin, as shown on the 1870 Ashe County, North Carolina census. It is well established through the 1870 and 1880 Grayson County censuses that Elizabeth Greer, daughter of Alexander was living and having children with Jonathan Blevins, as she is living next door or near her father, Alexander Greer. The wife of Clem Osborne may have been an Elizabeth Greer, but not this one. She may not have been a Greer, at all.)
