"David Greer is my husbands 3rd great-grandfather. He was born on March 13, 1841 and died December 9, 1881. David's wife is Nancy E. (don't know last name). She was born on August 6, 1846 and died February 11, 1933. Both are buried in the Greer Family Cemetery on Jack Jones Road in Horse Creek, Ashe County, North Carolina. I took pictures of their headstones when we visited there this past month. David and Nancy's children are as follows: James H., Benjamin F., Mary E., Eady (Edith?) C., Drury A. (male), Susan A. (my husbands 2nd great-grandmother), William H. H., Louisa Jane, Liddy E." (Kim (Lenick) Greer, August 2001.)
