Snelling E. Dillon

"Snelling Dillon was born in Virginia 1802. Never married. (DILLON ANCESTORS by Dr. Chares Raymond Dillon, page 199.) His grave supposed to be near Cross Roads. I found a contridiction to the above. I found that a Snelling E. Dillon married Lucinda Saunders, September 7, 1833. She was born in Virginia 181? and was the daughter of J. Saunders. They had children who are in the 1850 census." 1840 Franklin County, Virginia census: Listed as Snellon E, he and his wife were listed as age 30-39. Family included a girl under 5, one 5-9, and a boy 15-19.
