William Robards "Uncle Billy" Terry

"William R. Terry moved to Texas about 1860 and was a Justice of the Peace at Owlet Green, Texas and was the first postmaster of Edom, Texas. There were children from his second marriage." (Frances Wynn, 1977 from data of a genealogist, Mrs. Gandrud, in Alabama.)

1860 census: Rusk County, Texas.

1880 census: Van Zandt County, Texas, born in NC, both parents both in NC.
