Settled in Cannon then in Grattan then to Cedar Springs, MI. in 1867. Survived by 3 ch.: Mrs. Nora Black of Alpena , MI; Mrs. Eld. Clough of Grand Rapids, MI, W.R. Kromer of Tower, Minn. Another child died at age 4.
