Individual Details

Russell Kromer

(27 Apr 1833 - 5 Feb 1878)

Russell Kromer was a registered Republican in Cannon township, Kent County, Missouri, in 1860. Since Russell lived with his parents in 1850, married in 1855 in Jefferson County, NY and was in Michigan by 1860, it is likely he and Frances migrated at the same time his parents did in 1858. According to the Kent County History book his father, Abraham Kromer, moved to Cannon from Smithville, NY, in 1858. Abraham purchased the Patrick Farm and had a mercantile business. In 1867 Russell moved to Cedar Springs, Kent County, Missouri.
