Mrs. McCrane of Middletown, died July 2, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She resided in Little Silver and Sea Bright prior to relocating to Middletown. She also resided briefly in London. She was an interior decorator for 20 years in New York and London. She was a member of the National Association of Realtors, New Jersey Association of Realtors, and the Monmouth County Board of Realtors. She was predeceased by her former husbands, Paul M. Hughes and Kevin McCrane; a son, Paul M. Hughes Jr., her parents, Lawrence Sterling and Ethel (Bolmeyer) Thees; and a brother, Lawrence Sterling Thees Jr. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary-Beth Hughes and Duke Beeson of Red Hook, N.Y.; a step-daughter, Colleen Shoemaker and her husband Jay of Swathmore, Pa.; and two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.

Patricia McCrane, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Patsy was born in Ridgewood, NJ. She formerly resided in both Little Silver and Sea Bright and was raised in Sea Girt, NJ. She had also lived for a time in London. She attended Rosemont College as an art major student and had a 20 year career as a decorator locally as well as in New York and London. She designed a room for one of the "Junior League Show Houses" and two of her personal residences were chosen for the MCOSS Christmas Tour. She was also chairperson for several years for The American Cancer Ball and a member of The American Cancer Society. Patsy was a member of the National Association of Realtors, New Jersey Association of Realtors and the Monmouth County Board of Realtors. 
Patsy is predeceased by her former husbands Paul M. Hughes and Kevin McCrane; a son, Paul M. Hughes, Jr., her parents, Lawrence Sterling and Ethel (Bolmeyer) Thees and a brother, Lawrence Sterling Thees, Jr. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Mary-Beth Hughes and Duke Beeson of Red Hook, NY and her step-daughter, Colleen Shoemaker and her husband Jay of Swathmore, PA and two grandchildren, Drew and Charles Shoemaker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 6-9 pm at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. A mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, 10:00 am at Holy Cross RC Church, Rumson. Interment is private.
