Death
Obituary in Texarkana Gazette, Friday Dec. 6, 1991.Coye S. Head, 78, of Wake Village, Texas, died Thursday,Dec. 5, 1991, in a local hospital. Mrs. Head was born Jan. 25,1913, in Naple Texas. She was a retired dietician for Hooks Independent School District and St. James Day School,member of St. James Episcopal Church and U.S. Postal Service Auxiliary, past officer of the Kennel Club and the Garden Club and choir member at St. James Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Head, who died Aug. 8, 1965. Survivors include two daughters, Bea Hagar of Wake Village and Betty Jean Head of Texarkana; one son, John Randolph Head of Wichita, Kan. one sister, Lottie Stafford of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Flossie Stringfellow of Wake Village; two grandsons, Kevin Hagar and Kasey Hagar ofWake Village; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church with the Rev. Paul E. Lambert officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church Memorial Fund or to a favorite charity.
