William and Thomas are brothers of Henry and Samuel, and they were living next door to Henry and Ellen in the 1870 census in Missouri. Note that some of their children were born in Indiana, after the ones born in OH. When they were in Indiana, they were just across the border from Darke County. Eve and her husband were located in Cedar Co., MO in 1870 census, where Henry, William and Thomas were.
tedgcox@hotmail.com has a gedcom posted showing Henry and daughter Eve with this:

March, 2008, the tax records for Muskingum Co., OH, for the years 1826 through 1838 were researched. There is only one Henry Landers/Launder in the county and he did not own any real estate. There were personal tax returns for 1826 through 1833 and Henry was located in each year. Henry was in Salem Township and the only Landers in that township. In 1832, William was listed after Henry, supporting that William is, in fact, Henry's son and came of age that year and became taxable. Either Thomas moved out and away before he would appear with Henry or he was younger than William and the records stop before he came of age. Most of the census supports that Thomas is younger than William. By determining that there was only one Henry Landers in Muskingum in that time period, it appears likely that Henry was the one who married Elilzabeth Deems. Another book cited Deems and Landers as early settlers in a particular area of Salem Township, which further supports that. Note that in 1829 there was a John Cline in Salem Twp, with 2 horses and 3 cows. There were Deems and Clines in other townships, and in 1831, Michael Cline and John Cline were in Salem Twp. In 1832, Only Michael Cline was in Salem.
This is what Eldon Landers has in his gedcom. I asked where he got the wife's name and he didn't know.

April, 2008, three unknown children were added to the list of children, based on 1830 and 1840 census. It is definitely not proven that those listed were actually Henry's' and not some other child, but they are included now to give a better picture of the probable family.
As of March 2015 there are several trees at ancestry.com that list Henry Landers with birth date of 21 Feb 1769 and a death date of 8 Feb 1858 in Darke County, Ohio. No sources for any of them and as of March 24, nobody has replied to my emails asking about their source. Some of them also list his wife as Barbara Anna Cline/Klein. March 25 I did hear from one woman who descends from James K Landers, who she says is a son of Henry. She has invited me to her tree - "Clint and Vikki's Family", but she has no sources. She found a sister had changed her James' father to Henry but on reviewing James' birth place in KY, and my family's residence in MD, PA and OH, she thinks her James does not belong in this family. We have since determined that her James is definitely not a son of my Henry.
