Affidavit by Samuel Thornton Fidler gives Noah Clark's date and place of birth. Says Noah C. was born in Logan Co., OH. Donnadeane Depew had Licking Co., OH. Donnadeane is most likely correct, as the family didn't move to Logan County until later.
Noah was living near Quincy, OH, when they moved to MO. The family moved by railroad, taking their team and farm implements and possibly their household furniture with them. Time of moving appears to be sometime in 1881. Noah Clark had a cousin named Noah Fidler also. Hal has photos of Elsie Jane and husband Noah Clark.
1850 census shows only child in home Frances M., 2. Was that Mellie?
