Hannah FAIRBANKS
(Bef 3 Aug 1755 - 25 Oct 1829)
As of May, 2012, I have a Family Finder DNA match with Robert Warren Conners, whose sister, Penny, is managing the account. Penny sent me a gedcom of the portion of her family not in Prince Edward Island. I have checked every surname in that file and compared it with my file, and she and I are 9th cousins twice removed on Fairbanks as well as 8th cousins, twice removed, on Hawes. Hannah also descends from the Hawes. This, in addition to all of the circumstantial evidence connecting William Sherman to Isaac Sherman and Hannah Fairbanks, should prove that parent/child relationship.
Birth date calculated from the death date and age of 74 yr 2 m. 14d would be 11 Aug 1755, but have used the vital records book.
1820 census Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts, Hannah Shirman, head. Could this be her? If so, she doesn't have any of her daughter with her. Son Thomas? Who are the girls? 0-0-0-1-0-0 2-0-0-0-1

The above is probably not this Hannah, as in 1830, there is a Hannah Sherman, head, just a few lines below Moses. That one reads:
1 f 40-50 (1780-1790)
1 f 15-20 (1810-1815)
And in 1850, there is a Hannah Sherman, head, in Marlborough, age 67 (1782-83), born MA, with a Mary J. Sherman, 20 (1829-30), born MA, living with her.
