"Elizabeth F. Sherman
Know all men by these presents that I Elizabeth Fairbanks Sherman of Northborough of the county of Worcester and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, being in good health and of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
First, I hereby constitute and appoint Stephen Hunt of Northborough Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, directing my said Executor to pay all my just debts and funeral charges and erect suitable gravestones at my grave out of my estate. Also it ^ my request I should be buried in Marlborough and laid by side of my mother.
Second, After the payment of my said debts funeral expenses and the expense of erecting gravestones as aforesaid, I give devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate, real personal, and mixed, to my nieces Mary Elizabeth Melvin wife of Edward Everet Melvin, of Lexington; Elizabeth Fairbanks Sherman, the daughter of George Levi Sherman of Roxbury and Elizabeth Fairbanks Sherman Penny, the daughter of Augustus Penney of Abington, to be equally divided between them, share and share alike, to them, their heirs executors, administrators and assigns, to their use and behoof forever.
In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal, and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in the presence of the witnesses named below this thirty first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty.

Inventory of the estate in Book 342 page 278, lists personal estate, including cash on hand, of $202.06. There was no real estate or other assets listed. Anson Rice made oath that this is a true inventory of the Estate of Elizabeth F. Sherman. Anson was apparently named as Administrator according to this document.
