Isaiah FAIRBANKS

New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Vol. 61 : Pg. 153, 1907, pg. 153. Descendants of Hugh Jones. Item for John Jones lists a child by second wife:
"Mary, b. Aug. 7, 1744; d. about 1775; m. in 1772, Isiah, b. in 1745, d. in 1832, son of Jabez and Susanna (Corning) Fairbanks of Holliston; they settled in Grafton, and she left two children. After her death, he had three more wives, and at least nine more children."
The will of John Jones "dated Apr 15, 1778, probated Jan.5, 1779, names sons Samuel and John; daughters Sarah Stow and Elizabeth Winch; Isaiah Fairbanks, husband of deceased daughter Mary, and her two children Mary and Daniel Fairbanks; and youngest son Daniel Jones, to whom was left the homestead and all other real estate. (Middlesex Co. Probate.)"
