In the 1850 census, it appears that either there was an error on the ages of the last two children or one of them is not actually Nancy and Elijah's child. Alfred is listed as 1/12 and Veleria as 5/12 and they are listed in that order. Probably they were keeping a niece for the day and she was listed with them. Have not included her in the list of children in this family.
