Andrew Jackson Tressler
(28 Oct 1818 - 30 Mar 1892)
per month. In 185O Andrew went to West Unity as clerk in a store. In 1851 he bought the store and operated It till 1861. In that year he was elected county treasurer and served four years. Then he helped organize the First National Bank and because its first cashier. Later he was president of the bank for many years until his death. In Sept. 1842 he married Oleva Kent ( -- -- -- --Aug.-- 1870), daughter of Dr. Thomas Kent of Bryan.
Five children were born to them, Arminda, Byron. Elmer. Ellen and Rollln.
