Benjamin Ikenberry
(8 Mar 1838 - 16 Feb 1920)
Benjamin Ikenberry first farmed on Maggodee Creek, east of the Old Brick Church in Franklin County, Virginia. Benjamin paid a $500 fee to be exempted from fighting in the Civil War. In 1876, he and his family moved to farmed in Dodge County, Nebraska. Then, in 1900, he moved to Quinter, Kansas. Benjamin was a deacon in the Church of the Brethren.
