John Ikenberry

John Ikenberry, early in his life, joined the German Baptist Brethren. He and his family, along with other Brethren families, moved from Franklin County, Virginia, to Iowa in 1867, then to Dodge County, Nebraska, in 1871, and, finally, to Grove County, Kansas, in 1886. While in Nebraska, John was ordained the the eldership. John helped found the Quinter Church of the Brethren, and its first elder.
