"Chucky was born on Sunday night at 5:57 P.M. and weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and
was 21 1/2 inches long. He has light brown hair and blue eyes and is now as
tall as his mom. He and mother attended a parent-child observation preschool
class once a week when he was four years old. On September 11, 1967 he started
kindergarten at Murray Manor Elementary School. The following summer we moved
to a larger home and he started first grade at John Forward School. Chucky and
his dad belonged to the YMCA Indian Guides when he was 6 and 7 years old. They
had fun going to camp, Pinewood Derbiers and kite flying contests of which he
won several trophies. When he was eight years old he was in the Cub Scouts and
Mom was the den mother. Then he went into Webelos and has just completed a year
in boy scouts. He and his dad enjoyed some camping trips in scouts including a
camelback trip, mountains to desert. Chucky is interested in working with
animals, science, reading, learning Spanish, taking pictures, playing teamball,
ice skating and riding his new ten speed bike. In April he will be going to
sixth grade camp in the mountains for one week." (Marilyn Houghton, 1974).
(1995) Chuck lives with a room mate in LaMesa just five minutes from us.
He's worked at Sam's Cheeze Cake factory for 14 years, first as a driver and
now is in the office. Chuck has always loved animals and currently has several
exotic birds at their apartment.
