The Monticello (Iowa) Express, December 29, 1932Rhatigan-Heiken Wedding Announced
News of the marriage of Sam C. Rhatigan to Clara A. Heiken, June 24, 1932, came as a decided surprise to their many friends in Monticello this week. It seems that these young people drove to Galena, Illinois last June, where they were quietly married. Both Mr. and Mrs. Rhatigan are graduates of the Monticello high school. The former is an employee of the the Monticello post office, while Mrs. Rhatigan is a registered nurse and has been in the employ of the John McDonald hospital as a floor nurse for some time. These young people expect to make their home in Monticello.
