MONTICELLO—Funeral services for Anna Margaretha Fehners, 85, were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran church. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery.
The Rev. Harvey O. Gilbertson officiated.
Mrs. Fehners, widow of John H. Fehners, died at the Senior Home July 31. She was born near Monticello July 10, 1886, daughter of John F. and Almuth Katharina (Dirks) Poppe.
She was married to John H. Fehners April 23, 1919. They farmed near here until moving to town twenty-eight years ago.
Mr. Fehners preceded her in death March 28, 1952.
Mrs. Fehners was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran church.
She is survived by two brothers, Will F. Poppe and Fred H. Poppe of Monticello.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Casketbearers were Allen Poppe, Raymond Poppe, Norman Frahm, Lawrence Siebels, John Tschantz and Ben Eiben.
