Death
Mr. Boyce Furr, 75, of 420 James St., Pineville, died Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Park, Urgent Care Center. Funeral is 3 p.m. today at Stough Memorial Baptist Church, Pineville. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery. McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel is in charge. Mr. Furr was a retired textile worker with Cone Mills. He was a member of Stough Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors are wife, Carrie; daughters, Mrs. Jean Ashley, Mrs. Peggy Bass, both of Fort Mill, S.C.; sister, Mrs. Lucille Bass of Pineville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, October 23, 1985
