Death
Mrs. Nellie Lucille Furr Bass, 70, of 291 Eden Cir., Pineville, died May 19, 1989, at Mercy Hospital South. Funeral is 4 p.m. Sunday at Independent Bible Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 to- night at the church. McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel, is in charge. Mrs. Bass, a Mecklenburg County native, retired from Cone Mills after more than 17 years. Surviving is her husband, Howard of Pineville.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, May 20, 1989
