In March 1760, William Chilton gave evidence in a court case between Sarah Orton and Ezekiel Hickman in Loudoun County, Virginia. He was paid for 25 days of providing evidence for Sarah Orton on 3-12-1760.He also received travel expenses for traveling three miles on ten days from Maryland to Loudoun County.
He likely was living in Frederick County, Maryland where he was administrator for his brother John Chilton's estate in 1768.
